www.purepwnage.com

Just watch the clip of the FPS Doug episode. It's beautiful.

I got some money and a tasty cake for birthday number 21. I was told the money had to be used for something fun, so right now I'm kind of torn...it's been between a playstation 2 and a classical guitar (nylon strings feel so perdy) that would hopefully be acoustic electric. Input? Any new nominations?

I'm pretty sure what I want to do with my life now. I'd like to be a TV personality for either g4tv or ESPN...or anything, or I'd like to be a rock star of some sort, or a type of psychologist, or something....

Ok, well, one thing I am sure about is the Nightwish CD "Once" is completely fucking awesome. They have a full orchestra behind them (not just some synth with violin and chorus effects). The guitar work is pretty simple, but it just sounds so damn good when it all comes together. This is without a doubt the best power-fantasy-chick metal I've heard. Lacuna Coil, you suck. Arch Enemy, you kind of scare me. Nightwish, welcome to the top of the hill. If you've got money to spare, and enjoy occasional metal (and I don't mean the cookie-monster growling type), then I highly recommend this CD. It almost makes up for the horribly subpar Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold CDs I bought. Almost....

I also got a pretty good hardcore compilation CD. Why is it pretty good, you ask? Well, it has at least 4 decent songs on it, and it only cost me FOUR DOLLARS! Hot Topic proves itself useful.

Well, I'm tired of being awake.

Egypt is being pushed inland, and Britain isn't big enough to be a real threat. The empire grows...yay.

I saw Kung Fu Hustle a couple days ago, and it was really damn good. Though, I think it was better when I saw Zatoichi alone. On account of that being a more serious movie, it was better not to see it with loud, joking-friends. Kung Fu Hustle, though, is a group movie. If anyone has not seen it yet, I recommend fixing that, and seeing it as soon as possible. At points it was live cartoons brought to live-action. At other points, it was really badass fighting. A very good all-around movie. This along with Shaolin Soccer, Steven Chow is definitely gaining some points.

Next...I kind of want to see Crash. Maybe tomorrow evening will be a good time for it.

3-Iron also looks kind of good, but also potentially creepy and stupid. The preview was music-only, and people wakling around looking a mix of stoic and upset. But still...it could be cool.

I WANT A JOB. I e-mailed about six people today, so hopefully someone will respond. Until then, I'll just focus my energy on fucking up Egypt and Britain, and planning a proper attack against Rome.

I'm gonna get real poor real quick if I keep that up.

Potty-mouth time:

So there I was, trying to sleep in my bed, like I usually do, and Tara (the older of the two greyhounds) comes in and lays down next to the bed. So I figure, ok, I can deal with her laying in here. It won't kill me. Oh, how foolish I was.

Tara, being the farter of the two dogs, farts, and it smells bad...real bad. I turn around and hide toward the wall in my room. I turn around about 20 seconds later, and the bitch is gone. So, in conclusion, she comes in, farts, and leaves. That's class.

Grades are taking forever to come out, and it's annoying. The job hunt is also a bit annoying. Best-case scenario, I will have a job at Brunswick Zone tomorrow. Here's hoping.

The archers and onagers routed the oncoming infantry in just enough time. The cavalry tore through their flanking units. It was wonderful. My mom REALLY liked the bag that Suz (with some assistance from me) made for her, and PLUS she got her darling son (me) to come home for an entire four months.

Not sure how I did with classes this semester. For the most part, I feel I did well, but not well enough to feel secure through finals. My final Travel Lit paper and my Psych test were both a bit iffy, and anything short of really good would make for a disappointing semester. I got 67 dollars for books, though.

It became more apparent this semester more than ever that people do change, and they change quickly.
1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? None...probably going to keep that trend going.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? A band

7. Did you suffer any illness or injury? Colds, etc.

11. What was the best thing you bought? "Waking Life"!!!! Yeah...no. Best thing was probably Half-Life 2 because it didn't disappoint, or NFL2k3 for Gamecube because it cost me three dollars.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Lotta peoples

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Some peoples...maybe?

14. Where did most of your money go? Finding/forming a band that rocked

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? Um...Suzie said "classic"? So I guess that works.
Haaa, haaa

I usually use livejournal-light (xanga). Even there, I don't post much any more.

I wish people were on to play games more. Last year, aside from seeing my family, the highlight of being home was playing Counterstrike and Warcraft 3 until 4-5am with all my clanmates/friends. (There are few things more fun than playing a World War 3 game when you're half asleep [y'know...when everything seems about 17 times funnier].)

Playing online games isn't very fun when playing with strangers. So, in conclusion, to hell with those who are strangers, and to hell to those who aren't on any more.

Anybody wanna jam? I've been playing the same five songs on guitar since August. It's a bitch trying to think of new/fun things to play when not playing with anyone else. Damned SU soft-rock bastards.

Give me power metal. Give me wizards. Give me castles. GIVE ME FUCKING DRAGONS.

I'm the 3-minute Speed-Scrabble champion of the world.
